Kind words

What's it like to work with Benjamin Jay Thomas?

“

Over the past several months, Benjamin has helped me bring what felt like a distant ‘dream’ into reality. He is able to meet me right where I am in the vulnerable creative process providing insight and endless encouragement. He is a talented musician and offers a wealth of resources and knowledge in a supportive way that helps me expand and explore my own ideas. I am truly grateful!!

JILL S.

“

Being on this journey with Ben through song coaching has been such a transformative experience. I thought I was coming in to write some songs, but it has gone such deeper than that to how I do all things, and how I show up for myself. Ben is such a wise and supportive guide through this process, I highly recommend working with him!

NICOLE B.

“

Song coaching with Ben has been the best thing I’ve done for my songwriting. Nurturing, open, fun, inspiring environment. He’s helped me improve exponentially. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

CARRIE W.

“

I'm a few sessions in and hooked on Ben's compassionate teaching style. He is super knowledgeable and has been customizing the sessions for me and my friends each individually. It's super cool to go into this experience not knowing what I don't know and witnessing Ben make sense of things and give me meaningful direction through his curiosity and intentional questions.

TERRY P.

“

Working with Benjamin was a surreal experience. His contributions, arrangements, and ideas were just what my song needed to truly lift its wings and fly. Not only was he ultra communicative during the entire process, but he is just a warm, peaceful, soul.

JERMMEL

“

From the first minute, Benjamin has been extremely professional and, at the same time, very kind, friendly and approachable. His knowledge, skills and talent (on all levels) is nothing short of SUPERB. Amazing experience and the final result! Strongly recommended!

FILIP G.

“

Ben is by far the greatest producer I have ever worked with. He is professional, hard working and talented. He puts his heart and soul into the production, vision and songs. It was truly a pleasure and a gift to work with him and I will continue to work with him!

BRICE K.

“

Ben is a talented producer with great taste! His compositions are beautiful and soulful. He brought my draft of just vocals and piano to life with gorgeous orchestration. I'm really glad I chose Ben for my song, and I'll definitely come back!

TAMLIN K.

“

I have worked with Benjamin on many recordings over the past 15 years, and he remains one of my favorite producers, songwriters, and trusted confidants. Even though I’m now based in Nashville, I still choose to work with Ben and pass like-minded artists his way.

ZACH G.

“

Recording is always a vulnerable process but Ben makes it easy by creating a safe environment, offering really valuable suggestions for improvement in a way that feels encouraging and respectful. Then he works his magic and turns a loose idea into a fully polished work of art.

ALICIA C.

“

We had an exceptional experience working with Ben to create a song for our granddaughter’s birthday. Ben took the time to understand her backstory, and weaved unique sound bites into the final song. We could not be happier with the final product.

MICHAEL A.

If you'd like to explore working together, you're welcome to start with a Connection Call or a 1:1 coaching session.
